Like you, Sweetwater musicians love it when an instrument sounds excellent and looks great; our percussionists have fallen hard for these Artisan Edition Seguiriya Cajons from Meinl Percussion. Two sets of eight hand-wound cajon strings provide a crisp snare sound and are adjustable with the included tuning key. The snare sound gets refined via the pop filter on the cajon’s sound hole, which also features an extra thick sound port ring that works with its Baltic Birch resonating body to create a focused, punchy bass sound. This expressive cajon is also comfortable to play thanks to thoughtful rounded corners, thumb notches, and a rounded front plate with a convex contact point.
