The PRS S2 Custom 24-08 is a no-frills solidbody electric guitar with modern features that expand its tonal versatility. The S2 Custom 24 starts with a comfortable, contoured mahogany body crowned by an asymmetric bevel-cut maple top. Its 25-inch-scale Pattern Thin mahogany neck is adorned with an easy-playing 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, And when you plug it in, the Custom 24-08 yields fat, snarling humbucker tones with outstanding note articulation by virtue of its TCI pickups. You also get mini-toggle switches and a 3-way pickup selector, arming you with eight different pickup tones. The S2 Custom 24-08 also includes a high-quality PRS-designed tremolo and low-mass locking tuners, along with iconic PRS Birds fingerboard inlays. A nitro finish rounds out the Paul Reed Smith S2 Custom 24-08 for head-turning looks and durable performance that lets tonewoods breathe.

When PRS designed the S2 Custom 24-08, they endeavored to strike the perfect balance between price and performance. This streamlined solidbody electric guitar is built around a resonant mahogany body, which is capped by an asymmetric bevel-cut maple top. The S2 Custom 24-08's mahogany neck boasts a Pattern Thin shape, which is an updated version of the company's traditional Wide Thin neck style. The Pattern Thin neck shape is fast and comfortable ? ideal for players with smaller hands or guitarists who use classical left-hand positioning, pivoting with their thumb on the back of the neck. This insanely comfortable neck is topped with a 10-inch-radius, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard that's guaranteed to facilitate lightning-fast fretwork.

Ear-grabbing TCI pickups





The PRS Custom 24-08 is equipped with a pair of amazing TCI (Tuned Capacitance and Inductance) pickups. The guitar's hot bridge pickup is perfect for deploying leads infused with fat, snarling tone; back off your volume control, and it cleans up beautifully. Switch to the neck pickup, and you'll hear every note articulated in a chord, even in high-gain situations. These pickups also include mini-toggle coil-tap switches, providing eight ear-grabbing tones to mix and match.
