The Star Reserve Stave Ash Snare takes sound control to new heights with its Linear-Drive strainer. It is engineered to help you achieve a better command of its lever adjustment arm, while also remaining more precise during deployment. This aptly named system functions in an even, linear motion that reduces excess noise when the snare wires contact the underside of the drum. A ratchet system integrated into its tension adjustment mechanism gives you the freedom to tighten your snare wires with ease, offering micro adjustments that will help you establish the right amount of snap to match your sound.





Outfitted with lightweight single-piece lugs





You’ll find the same smart construction throughout the rest of this snare’s hardware appointments, especially in the 10 MSL90S single-piece lugs. With a clean, classy silhouette, these lugs line the outside of the snare to provide maximum drumhead tension adjustment, while simultaneously utilizing a bridge construction to drastically reduce contact with the exterior of your snare’s shell. Additionally, their single-piece design reduces the weight of the snare, opening up the tonal characteristics of the shell for added resonance.
